The Government of the Philippines, through the (BCDA), has received a special loan from the (JBIC) to finance the Detailed Design and Construction Supervision of the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway Project (SCTEP). As an integrated whole, the SCTEP is expected to provide the shortest, most direct and efficient link among vital development areas in Central Luzon, more specially among the three(3) prime economic zones: The Subic Bay Economic and Freeport Zone in Zambales, The Clark Special Economic Zone in Pampanga The Hacienda Luisita Industrial Park in Tarlac The proposed expressway is a four-lane divided highway that will serve to connect Subic to Clark and to Tarlac. This project also connect to the existing NLE. The projects is divided into two (2)packages: Package 1 : Subic-Clark Section (50.4 kms) Package 2 : Clark-Tarlac Section (41.4 kms) Therefore, the project will involve the construction of 91.8 kms of expressway traversing the province of Bataan, Pampanga and Tarlac. KE ASIA is responsible for the Detailed Engineering Design, Cost Estimate and General Highway Planning of the various interchanges and roadways included in this project.
