The development of Fort Bonifacio will provide an opportunity for a very high density development for business, entertainment and residence. To support these activities, the city needs excellent access which implies a modern efficient traffic control system to make best use of its road network.

The grid system of the road layout of Fort Bonifacio will require a relatively large number of traffic signals,which will be, in traffic control terms, closely spaced. The efficient operation of the traffic signals will be crucial to the access and mobility within the city which in turn,will be an important determinant in its economic success.

KE ASIA was tasked to design the traffic signaling system for Fort Bonifacio. The project consists of several stages which includes:

(a) the initial system isolated control,
(b) local master control,
(c) basic central control,
(d) manned traffic control center and
(e) integrated traffic and transport information center.
